Your new tasks (after extensive training):

  • Creating and maintaining pipelines for potential customers and existing customers in accordance with the customer acquisition strategy and customer development strategy in the CRM system
  • Offer management (sending / organising, preparing offers) in the area of air freight, sea freight and rail.
  • Carrying out customer onboarding activities
  • Maintaining customer relationships, including visits to trade fairs and events that are beneficial to business relationships
  • Creating high-quality communication records in the CRM system Communication Manager
  • Processing / creation of incoming and outgoing sales leads
  • You know the market and the competition and keep up to date with the latest developments
  • Implementation of suitable payment terms (credit control)
  • Preparing visits, scheduling appointments, tracking individual sales targets and
  • Carrying out tasks assigned by the Area/Branch Sales Manager or National Sales Manager.
  • Inside sales ‘Pricing’ in cooperation with the operations team
  • Rate negotiations with shipowners, airlines, GSSAs and business partners

How you fit in with us:

  • Friendly, communicative, open-minded person who enjoys working in a team and wants to achieve great things together with us.
  • Successfully completed training as a forwarding and logistics specialist with initial professional experience and / or experience in sales, as well as motivated, ambitious career changers.
  • Knowledge of the export and import transport chain is an advantage
  • Confident handling of common MS Office programmes
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Customer-orientated working style and ability to work independently with support from the regional sales manager and operations


For this position, the collective labour agreement for employees in the forwarding industry BG A ES I (full-time) applies.
The salary consists of a monthly basic salary and a performance-oriented bonus "Incentive System".
