Air freight volume is set to double in two to five years

Air freight is set to become a more important pillar for a. hartrodt in Switzerland in the future. "The aim is to double our shipment volume in the next two to five years," says Managing Director Gabriela Aebi-Tövishati. Storage and picking space in Zurich for logistics services

For logistics services, a. hartrodt has rented storage and picking space in the immediate vicinity of the Zurich office. "We store goods there and offer pick & pack as well as distribution in Switzerland," Sven Stillhard explains some of the value-added services. For foreign companies importing goods into Switzerland, the fiscal representation by a. hartrodt is particularly interesting. "When it comes to order management, we take over the management of the customer's inventory," says Gabriela Aebi-Tövishati, citing another example. The location at the airport offers "high flexibility and fast response times, even at weekends".

In Switzerland, a. hartrodt has a total of 14 employees. The national headquarters recently moved from Muttenz near Basel to Rheinfelden and mainly handles sea freight and truck transports.
